Known for his vibrant personality and entrepreneurial spirit, "Singo" embodies the quintessential Australian larrikin, celebrated for his humor, charm, and larger-than-life presence.
John Singleton’s legacy spans multiple industries, from revolutionizing Australian advertising to making bold investments in radio, publishing, horse racing, and hospitality. In the late 1990s, he played a pivotal role in rescuing the Magic Millions Horse Auction House, reviving its fortunes alongside his partners. His love of good times and generosity is legendary, as demonstrated by his shout for the entire Rosehill racecourse after his horse’s Golden Slipper win.
As he famously said, “Anyone who thinks luck has nothing to do with success has never been successful...and never will be unless they’re bloody lucky.” This bust honors both his wit and his indelible mark on Australian culture and business.
